Arbeloa bids farewell to his Real Madrid managerial career and is ready to embrace new challenges.

In the final round of La Liga, Real Madrid will host Athletic Bilbao at the Bernabéu Stadium. This match is not only the final game of the season, but also the last game for manager Álvaro Arbeloa in charge of Real Madrid this season.

At the pre-match press conference, Arbeloa expressed his anticipation for this farewell match: "I want to see a great game, to say goodbye to the fans by giving a victory and a fight with all my might."

“Playing the last game at home is always special and unique. Hopefully, this will be a ‘farewell’. I have been a part of Real Madrid in many roles over the past 20 years, and I will always consider this place my home.”

Looking back on his four-month interim coaching stint, Arbeloa admitted that he has made significant progress and feels ready for new challenges.

Arbeloa explicitly denied rumors that he might join Mourinho's coaching staff, stating that Mourinho has his own established coaching team, and that he himself would begin considering his future direction on Monday.

When asked about his relationship with the locker room and the challenges of managing a 25-man squad, Arbeloa said, "It's normal to have disagreements when dealing with so many ambitious players. There are always more unhappy players than satisfied players in every game."

“But I always focus on positive things. I have a good relationship with almost all the players and have resolved a lot of issues. I am very grateful for the players’ efforts over the past four months. I have always put the interests of Real Madrid first, so I have no regrets.”
