Thunder win Game 2 of Western Conference Finals to tie the series 1-1 with Spurs

May 21 - According to ESPN, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander delivered a solid performance with 30 points, 9 assists, and only 1 turnover. The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the San Antonio Spurs 122-113 in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals, tying the series 1-1.

Alexander stated that at this stage of the season, there wasn't much to do. "Every team has its own style, and when they play their style better than their opponents, they usually win, regardless of the level or importance of the game. Tonight we just played better than in the first game," he said.

Furthermore, starting center Isaiah Hartenstein played an even more crucial role in the second game. He played 27 minutes, scoring 10 points and grabbing 13 rebounds, and defensively focused on limiting Victor Wimbledonyama, reducing his inside scoring from 26 points in the first game to 10 .

Thunder head coach Mark DeGnott said after the game that the team's rotation arrangements in Game 1 were inadequate, but the adjustments made in this game were clearly effective.

Alexander also admitted that the series is not yet secure: "Tonight's performance was not enough to win the whole series, we must continue to improve."
