Flick sets his sights on Barcelona continuing to compete for more titles next season.

The 2025/26 La Liga season is drawing to a close, and champions Barcelona will travel to face Valencia. Manager Hansi Flick stated that his team will strive for even greater goals next season, including aiming to win the Champions League.

Barcelona defeated Real Betis 3-1 at Camp Nou in the last round of La Liga, thanks to a brace from Rafinha and a goal from Cancelo.

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick said at a press conference, "We hope to win the last game, and ending the season with a victory would be a positive sign."

“We are on the right track. We have had success in the last two seasons, winning a total of five trophies, but we want more next season. We will give 100%, and everyone knows that our dream is to win the Champions League, and that is our goal.”

Flick noted, "It's been a tough season, but I think next season will be even tougher, so we have to be prepared. I also hope to see some new faces, and I'm very pleased with the overall level of the youth academy when I come here in 2024."

In addition, 23-year-old Barcelona midfielder Fermín was unable to represent the Spanish national team in the 2026 World Cup due to an earlier injury.

Flick said, "Fermin is going through a tough time right now. He had a fantastic season and played a huge role in our La Liga title win. Playing in the World Cup is every player's dream, but that's life. We will all support him, and he will come back stronger."
