NBA Rookie of the Year Award Announced: Frager Wins

On May 21st , the NBA officially announced the All-Rookie Teams for the 2025-26 season. Dallas Mavericks' number one draft pick Cooper Flagg , Charlotte Hornets' rising star Comm Knupper , and Philadelphia 76ers guard VJ Etchcomb were all unanimously selected to the All-Rookie First Team.

In addition, San Antonio Spurs guard Dylan Harper and Memphis Grizzlies forward Cedric Cowward were also nominated. Harper appeared in all 100 votes, receiving 93 first-team votes and 7 second-team votes, demonstrating a very consistent performance.

It's worth noting that these five players were also the only ones to receive votes in this season's Rookie of the Year award voting. Ultimately, Flagg edged out Knuppel to win the Rookie of the Year award.

In the All-Rookie Second Team, Jeremiah Fils and Derek Quinn of the New Orleans Pelicans , Es Bailey of the Utah Jazz , Maxim Reynolds of the Sacramento Kings, and Colin Murray - Boyles of the Toronto Raptors were successfully selected.
