Callum McFarlane thanks fans for their support and helps the players persevere.

Chelsea defeated Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 in the London derby in the 37th round of the Premier League, thanks to goals from Enzo and Andre Santos. Callum McFarlane said the fans' enthusiastic support helped his players overcome fatigue and win this important match.

In the 17th minute, Pedro Neto passed the ball across the box, and Enzo, outside the penalty area, fired a long-range shot into the net, giving Chelsea a 1-0 lead. In the 67th minute of the second half, Andre Santos received another pass from Enzo and fired a low shot into the net, extending Chelsea's lead over Tottenham Hotspur to 2-0.

In the 73rd minute, Sarr assisted Richarlison to score, pulling one back for Tottenham Hotspur to make it 1-2. Ultimately, Chelsea defeated Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 at home, successfully returning to winning ways.

Chelsea interim manager Callum McFarlane said: "I think the atmosphere at the stadium is fantastic, and you can feel the energy. I think it was the same at Wembley Stadium, and I think when we get that kind of positive energy, it always helps the team and motivates them to do more."

"Some players were actually exhausted, but the fans' enthusiasm, cheers, and the momentum they brought made the players fight a little harder, and I think that was very evident. It's great to win the game. You could clearly see from the first minute that we didn't have the energy and intensity we should have at times, but we did it in certain phases."

Callum McFarlane pointed out, "This match was going to be difficult, given the recovery time after the FA Cup final. We all knew this would happen, both physically and mentally."

“We played some very good combinations in the first half and took a two-goal lead, which I think we deserved. Then, as Tottenham Hotspur started to show more of a physical advantage, the game went into a different phase.”

Callum McFarlane also said, "The opponents had more time to prepare for this game and got more rest. Everyone could feel the pressure coming on, and we had to keep going for the result. I think the team did a great job in the final stages."

On the other hand, Chelsea will travel to Sunderland for their final match of the season. Currently in 8th place with 52 points, Chelsea must win to have a chance of securing a European qualification spot.
