England manager Thomas Tuchel announces World Cup squad, emphasizing team chemistry.

The 2026 World Cup will kick off in June, and England, the "Three Lions," has announced its 26-man squad. Tuchel stated that the chemistry and understanding between the players are essential factors for the team to achieve its goals.

In the European qualifiers for the World Cup, England secured their place in the World Cup finals with a perfect record in Group K, and were immediately considered one of the favorites to win the championship.

It is worth mentioning that well-known players such as Palmer, Arnold, Foden and Maguire were not called up to the England national team.

England manager Thomas Tuchel said, "Based on all my understanding and knowledge of international football, the most important thing in national team competitions is teamwork and chemistry. The goals we want to achieve this summer can only be accomplished through the team. Hopefully, we can spend a long time together, after all, we will be together 24 hours a day."

“We put a lot of thought into these ‘soft skills’ in order to build the right chemistry and make sure every player understands that their role is important. I think we’ve put together a very balanced roster.”

Tuchel emphasized, "Players must feel the care and trust the coach gives them. If there is doubt, they cannot perform at the same level. We rely heavily on these factors. There must be a bond between the team, and everyone can truly feel whether the team's energy and chemistry are good. If this team is really like brothers, then the fans will definitely be able to see it and feel it."

"The best lineup is not necessarily a simple combination of 26 most talented players. Teamwork and overall cohesion are always the most important core elements. I hope that our selection of this squad can achieve this, and that is the thinking behind us."
