Constantinos Mavropanos: All we can do right now is keep working hard and try to play our best in the remaining two games.

Constantinos Mavropanos stated that West Ham United have no room for error and must fight tooth and nail to win their final two Premier League matches. West Ham are currently bottom of the league, just two points behind Tottenham Hotspur, and their next matches will be against Newcastle United and Leeds United.  

This weekend, West Ham United will travel to St. James' Park for their next match. In their previous game, they suffered a 0-1 home defeat to Arsenal on Sunday, which has undoubtedly affected the team's morale.  

Constantinos Mavropanos and his teammates put on a strong performance against Arsenal, but the team ultimately failed to secure any points. Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya made several crucial saves, while Leandro Trossard scored the winning goal in the final moments. Callum Wilson's equalizer was disallowed, leaving West Ham United with a disappointing defeat.  

However, Tottenham Hotspur's 1-1 draw with Leeds United on Tuesday means that a win for West Ham United in the northeast could put them ahead of Tottenham. Tottenham then face Chelsea away on Wednesday. For Greek defender Constantinos Mavropanos, the team can only focus on their own performance, try to get points, and hope to secure enough points to avoid relegation.  

Constantinos Mavropanos said: "We played quite well overall against Arsenal, but were a little unlucky towards the end of the game. Based on this result, the team is currently facing a rather difficult period."  

"I don't think we should accept Sunday's loss. It was really tough, but all we can do is keep fighting in the next game and see where we end up. We need to keep working hard and maintain the level of performance we showed on Sunday. Because we've shown good form, and that's something we must continue in the next few games."  

"We are in a very difficult situation right now because the situation is no longer entirely in our control. We can only observe how things develop for now, and in the remaining games, all we can do is continue to work hard, strengthen teamwork, strive for the best results in the last two games , and then see what the final outcome is."
