Team Nemesis officially announced a major roster overhaul to prepare for the 2026 peak tournament.

On the eve of the crucial mid-year sprint of the 2026 Dota 2 professional season, Singapore-based esports organization Team Nemesis officially announced a restructuring of its roster.

In order to reverse the recent slump and strive for the highest honor of the year, the team resolutely abandoned its original core team from Southeast Asia and instead formed an international team spanning three continents: Asia, Europe and America.

This restructuring is led by renowned Brazilian coach Astini. Astini, who led PARIVISION to a brilliant season in 2025, is seen as a key signal of Nemesis's international transformation. Of the original core members, only veteran Jabz remains in the new squad.

The new additions include Rubikon155, a rising star point guard from Moldova; the Brazilian duo Lelis and 4nalog; and YamSun, a strong addition from North America. This change also means that several Southeast Asian stars, including 23savage, Q, Mac, and Jaunuel, have officially left the team.

When discussing the reasons for this radical roster change, Team Nemesis officially stated that it was to seek a breakthrough in upcoming top-tier tournaments. Due to the team's poor performance in the first half of 2026, including repeated failures in the Southeast Asian qualifiers and disappointing bottom finishes in international tournaments such as PGL Wallachia, management believed that a complete restructuring was necessary to create the possibility of competing on the highest level.

The 2026 Esports World Cup (EWC) and The International 2026 (TI 2026) are both scheduled to be held in July and August, with the qualifiers starting in June.

Given the extremely low probability of not receiving a direct invite, Nemesis must quickly integrate their roster. Although the team has already traveled to Europe to participate in the EPL online tournament for practice, their ability to break through the highly competitive qualifiers will be crucial in determining their success this season.
