Sassuolo completes contract extension with French winger Armand Laurienté..


Sassuolo announced on their official website on Tuesday that they have extended the contract of their French winger Armand Laurienté.


According to Sassuolo's official statement, Laurienté has signed on a new three-year contract with the club which runs until the summer of 2029.


After completing his contract extension procedures, Laurienté, who was interviewed by the Sassuolo official website again, said: "I am delighted to extend my contract with Sassuolo. This club means a lot to me. I thank the club's owner, president Carlo Rossi, CEO Giovanni Canevalli, and sporting director Francesco Palmieri for this important opportunity.

About Armand Laurienté


The 27-year-old Laurienté was born on December 4, 1998, in Gonese, France. He is 1.71 meters tall and primarily plays as a left winger, but can also play as a right winger and center forward. He is of Guadeloupean descent.


Laurienté joined Rennes' youth academy in 2013 and began playing for their reserve team three years later.


In the summer of 2018, Laurienté was loaned-out to Orléans.


Upon returning from his loan spell in January of the following year, Laurienté completing his Rennes first-team debut by coming on as a substitute a month later.


In August 2019, Laurienté was loaned-out to Lorient, but his ownership was later permanently purchased.


On the 2022 summer transfer window deadline day, Laurienté joined Sassuolo for €5 million.


Since becoming a member of I Neroverdi, so far, Laurienté has made 140 appearances for the Serie A club in all competitions, scoring 38 goals and providing 27 assists, and has won one Serie B title with the team.
