The Athletic reported on Thursday that a brawl has broke out among Real Madrid players.

According to the report, the incident stemmed from a conflict between captain Federico Valverde and France international defensive midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni.

The two clashed for the second time during a recent training session. During the altercation, Aurélien Tchouaméni punched Valverde in the head, causing a concussion and some degree of brain injury.

Valverde was subsequently taken to the hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Real Madrid also announced that it has launched an internal hearing and disciplinary proceedings regarding the incident.

However, although The Athletic stated that it would not disclose the source of this explosive insider information to protect privacy, Valverde's agent is extremely unhappy, believing that the information may have been leaked by Tchouaméni's agent or close associates of his compatriots Kylian Mbappé or Eduardo Camavinga.

The report also added that defender Antonio Rüdiger had an inexplicable altercation with younger teammate Álvaro Carreras several months ago.
