Taiwo Awoniyi: This victory is significant and is the result of the collective efforts of the entire team.

Taiwo Awoniyi credited Nottingham Forest's 3-1 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge to manager Vitor Pereira and his coaching staff. The Nottingham Forest manager made eight changes to the starting lineup for the away game in West London, including starting Taiwo Awoniyi, who went on to score twice.

Igor Jesus scored a penalty in the first half to help Nottingham Forest control the game. Then, in first-half stoppage time, Mats Sels saved a penalty from Cole Palmer, giving Nottingham Forest a two-goal lead going into halftime.

Shortly after the start of the second half, Taiwo Awoniyi scored again, almost sealing the victory and helping Nottingham Forest narrow the gap with the top ten in the Premier League standings to six points.

Taiwo Awoniyi said: "This victory is very important, and the credit belongs to the players, the coach, and the whole team. Our goal here was to take all three points, which is exactly what we needed, and I'm very happy that we finally did it. We had a very good start, controlling the tempo of the game in the first five minutes, which is exactly what the coach wanted to see."

"It was a high-quality cross, and I just happened to be in the right place to finish it off. It wasn't just an individual achievement, but the result of the whole team's efforts, including Morato and the substitutes. The key is always teamwork and being ready to help the team at any time."

"Time seemed to drag in the final stages of the game, but fortunately the whole team remained focused. We persevered until the very end, trying to control possession and avoid mistakes. The team was well-prepared, and the tactics were spot on. The coaching staff deserves high praise."

"Looking back on the entire season and where we are now, the players have performed exceptionally well. We have faced many challenges, and now there are only a few games left in the season."

“Next we will face Aston Villa, which is another important game. We will take it one game at a time and aim for three points. I believe we will approach Aston Villa with the same mindset and then see what happens before the end of the season.”
