In the 30th round of the 2025/26 Serie A season, AC Milan defeated Torino 3-2 at home. With this victory, they temporarily sit in second place with a record of 18 wins, 9 draws, and 3 losses, accumulating 63 points.

Torino attempted to take the initiative early on, but their attacks failed to find the net: In the 12th minute, Marcus Pedersen delivered a cross from the right wing, but Nicola Vlasic's sprint and shot missed the target. In the 15th minute, Rafael Obrador's corner from the right was headed over the bar by Giovanni Simeone at the far post. In the 29th minute, Gylfi Ginitis made a run down the middle before unleashing a shot, which was easily saved by Mike Maignon.

In the 36th minute, Adrian Rabiot's long-range shot was brilliantly saved by Alberto Pareri, but AC Milan began to besiege the opponent's penalty area. However, Torino continued their aggressive attack despite trailing by two goals. In the 67th minute, Genitis broke down the left flank and delivered a cross, which Simeone met with a powerful shot inside the box, but it was saved by Maignan. In the 79th minute, Simeone was brought down from behind by Pavlovic in the penalty area, earning a valuable penalty after VAR intervention. Vlasic then converted the penalty, pulling one back for Torino in the 83rd minute.

Neither side managed to score again. The match ended 3-2, with AC Milan and Torino tied.
