French esports club Vitality announced on Friday via its official X (Twitter) account that former DEER Gaming ADC player Yakkey has joined their League of Legends academy team.
According to Vitality's official statement, Yakkey will replace Danish bot laner Vizzpers as the starting bot laner.
With this roster change, Vizzpers will be immediately relegated to the bench.
Vizzpers recently participated in the LFL Invitational with the team but only managed a 10th place finish, the worst ranking in the team's history, forcing Vitality to make roster changes.
The 20-year-old's individual performance was also poor throughout the tournament. In 15 matches, his gold was -960. Among the Super Group ADCs, Vizzpers ranked last in KDA, CS per minute, and gold per minute.
About Yakkey
The 21-year-old Yakkey, born in Romania, began his professional League of Legends esports career in 2021 in the Belgian league as an ADC player.
He then moved to the EBL league, playing for Partizan Esports, and made his EMEA Masters debut, but was eliminated in the Play-In Stage.
Subsequently, in 2024, he joined the LPLOL team GTZ, reaching the Spring Split finals and again qualifying for the EMEA Masters, but ultimately failing to advance beyond the Play-In Stage.
In early 2025, he traveled to France for the first time, joining the LFL Tier 2 league team Skillcamp, ultimately finishing eighth.
Afterwards, he returned to the EBL league, joining Crvena zvezda Esports, and in the 2025 Summer Split, reached the EMEA Masters Play-In Stage for the third time.
In early 2026, he joined the NLC team DEER Gaming.
Although he ultimately only finished in the top six, Yakkey's individual performance was outstanding. He ranked second in KDA, first in average kills (over 9), first in CS per minute (10.7), first in gold per minute (600), and second in damage per minute (DPM).
