Julian López announced his departure this summer upon the expiration of his contract, ending his nine-year career in Paris.

Julian López announced on his personal Instagram account that he will leave Paris FC after his contract expires this summer.

Julian López, 34, is the elder brother of Maxim López and holds dual French and Algerian citizenship. He primarily plays as a left winger, but can also play as an attacking midfielder, center forward, left midfielder, and right winger.

In July 2017, Lopez joined Paris FC as a free agent. To date, he has made 261 appearances for PSG, scoring 31 goals and providing 16 assists, and is considered a key member of the team's goal of promotion to Ligue 1 in 2025.

In his farewell statement, Lopez said emotionally: "This day has finally come. After ten years with Paris FC, it's time to put an end to this chapter of my career. I am very proud that I always give my all when I step onto the field."

"As a Marseille native who came to Paris, I didn't sign my first professional contract until I was 25, and I didn't play in Ligue 1 until I was 33. I never thought I would be able to write such a story."

"Thank you to President Pierre Ferrach for his unwavering support and his words before the match. Thank you to all the coaches, thank you to everyone who has worked hard for the club, and thank you to the fans who have supported us since the Charette era. Thank you to the fans who have been with me since the Schalté era. We are a true family."

"Thank you to all my teammates in the locker room who fought alongside me. You know what we've been through together. Those everyday moments will be memories I'll never forget. Every morning, I can't wait to get to the training field."

"What could be better than fighting alongside you, my brother Maxim? It feels so wonderful, no words can describe everything we've been through together. Seeing your smile return to life, playing together, winning together, celebrating goals together, realizing my dream of playing in Ligue 1, competing against you in training, seeing your unwilling expression as you leave the field, and passing the ball back and forth with you at the Stade Vélodrome... It's all been incredible! I will always remember it."

"One chapter has ended, but the best is yet to come. I'm highly motivated, in great shape, and ready for the next challenge. Thank you, Paris."
