Flick sets his sights on Barcelona achieving 100 points in La Liga.

The 36th round of the 2025/26 La Liga season will feature another match, with already-title-winning Barcelona traveling to face Alavés. At a press conference, Flick stated his hope that Barcelona can finish the season with 100 points.

In the last round of La Liga's El Clásico, Barcelona defeated Real Madrid 2-0 at Camp Nou after goals from Rashford and Ferran Torres.

After achieving an impressive 11-game winning streak, Barcelona sits atop the league table with 91 points, a full 14 points ahead of second-placed Real Madrid, securing the championship title with three rounds to spare.

It is worth mentioning that Barcelona coach Flick learned of his father's passing before the match against Real Madrid, and everyone present observed a moment of silence for Flick's father.

Flick said, "The team and I both want to get 100 points, and we have to win the remaining 3 games to achieve that. These past few days have made me feel that I've come to the right place, and I'm really grateful."

“Our team has different types of leaders. Gavi has improved the team’s intensity since he resumed training. He is the heart of the team. Pedri is the leader when he has the ball, as is Eric Garcia. There are also captains, such as Frenkie de Jong, Araujo and Rafinha.”

Flick also emphasized, "Our first priority is to make the fans happy, which I am proud of, and I have also told the players this, because this season has been very difficult due to injuries."

“We had some key players who were unavailable at certain stages, such as Yamal, Pedri, Rafinha, and Frenkie de Jong. However, we still performed like this throughout the season, especially in the last two months, with incredible improvements on both ends of the pitch. We were the team that conceded the fewest goals, and nobody expected that.”

In addition, Barcelona striker Rafinha said earlier, "Winning the league title is something to celebrate, we have performed very well this season."

"Everyone goes through difficult times, the key is how to come back stronger from those moments, and this team has proven that they have that ability. We experienced a slump at the beginning of the league, but our subsequent performance was truly amazing."
