Swedish Counter Strike 2 powerhouse 9INE announced on Tuesday via their official X (Twitter) account that they have benched rifler bnox effective immediately.
According to 9INE's official statement, everyone at the club is grateful for bnox's contributions and wishes him all the best for the future.
This decision means that bnox's partnership with the team has ended after only six months. In fact, bnox is the second player to be benched by 9INE recently. Another rifler, cej0t, was also recently benched.
Currently, 9INE has not officially announced which player will replace bnox and cej0t.
Previously, the team had fielded former Nexus rifler adamS to participate in the Staked Ranked CQ, but the both sides have never officially signed any contract.
9INE started the year ranked 34th in the VRS, but in the most recent May ranking update, due to a series of disappointing results, their ranking plummeted to 62nd.
Aside from reaching the semifinals of LORGAR Rankings Season 1 and IstanbuLAN 2026, the team failed to make a breakthrough in other lower-tier tournaments, prompting two roster changes.
The 26-year old bnox was born on April 17, 2000, in Poland. He became a professional Counter Strike esports player in 2017, playing as a rifler.
Bnox previously played for Pompa, Permitta, Sangal, and Eternal Fire, winning titles in Tier 2 and Tier 3 tournaments including the Polska Liga Esportowa Autumn 2021: Dywizja Mistrzowska, the Polska Liga Esportowa Superpuchar 2023, SwitzerLAN 2024, and the GameZone Masters 2024.
In December 2025, bnox joined 9INE. In the past three months, he has completed 59 maps with an average rating of 3.0.
Following bnox's benching, 9INE's starting lineup is as follows:
In-Game Leader: raalz
Rifler: kraghen
AWP-er: flayy
Coach: BERRY
