AL team failed to advance beyond the semifinals in the playoffs, and Helper stepped down as head coach.

Korean coach Helper announced on his personal social media that he will officially step down as head coach of the LPL team Anyone's Legend (AL) after coaching only one season.

In the first stage of the 2026 LPL, Helper took over the original starting lineup of Flandre, Tarzan, Shanks, Hope, and Kael. Although he led this talented team to an easy first place in their group during the regular season, they failed to find a way to break through in the playoffs.

AL was first defeated by JD Gaming, led by their former head coach Tabe, and then eliminated by Weibo Gaming, supervised by Helper's former head coach KIM, ultimately failing to reach the semifinals. This result also failed to continue AL's glorious record of never falling out of the top three in the league during the 2025 season.

Looking back on Helper's coaching career, he has an impressive resume. In 2020, he served as an assistant coach and helped Suning Gaming win the runner-up title at the World Championship. Subsequently, during his time coaching PSG Talon and Gen.G, he achieved numerous successes, including two LCK championships, two MSI championships, and the Esports World Cup (EWC) championship.

However, Helper's return to the LPL as head coach was short-lived and filled with regret. The soon-to-be 31-year-old Helper possesses extensive coaching experience across multiple regions. Although he has not yet announced his next career move, his future destination will undoubtedly be a focus of close attention in the esports world.
