Premier League – Manchester City 1-1 Bournemouth, Arsenal clinching the title early

In another key match of the 37th round of the 2025/26 Premier League season, Manchester City, playing away, came back from a goal down to draw 1-1 with Bournemouth thanks to a goal from Haaland, allowing Arsenal to secure the title early.

Four minutes into the match, Manchester City created an attacking opportunity. Doku received the ball, broke into the penalty area, and passed it back. Doku followed up with a low shot, but the ball was caught by Bournemouth goalkeeper Petrovic. In the 12th minute, Haaland played a through ball to Semenio, who slotted it home, but the goal was disallowed due to offside.

Manchester City ultimately drew 1-1 with Bournemouth away from home. Failing to secure all three points, City sit second in the standings with 78 points, four points behind leaders Arsenal, thus securing the title for Arteta's team.
