May 19 - According to the Associated Press, San Antonio Spurs guard De'Aaron Fox has been confirmed to miss Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals due to discomfort in his right ankle . The decision was officially announced approximately one hour before the game began.

Before the game, Fox participated in the team's morning shooting practice and underwent a court test approximately 90 minutes before the game, but ultimately failed to pass the evaluation for playing time.
