May 12 - According to the Associated Press, a source familiar with the matter revealed that Victor Wimbledonyama will not face further NBA punishment for elbowing Naz Reed in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals. He will be able to play in Game 5 of the series.

Early in the second quarter of Game 4 , Wimbledon got into a physical altercation with Reed and Jaden McDaniels while battling for a rebound , and subsequently elbowed Reed. After reviewing the video, the referees upgraded the initial call to a Flagrant Foul 2, ejecting Wimbledon from the game. This was the first ejection of Wimbledon's career.

 

According to statistics, this is the third time this season that Wajnaya has been called for a flagrant foul. The French center was unanimously named Defensive Player of the Year and is also a finalist for MVP . The Spurs and Timberwolves series is currently tied 2-2 .
