Constantinos Mavropanos: We must be fully prepared and give it our all; this is our only option.

Constantinos Mavropanos says West Ham United are just as eager as Arsenal to win Sunday's Premier League derby at London Stadium. Arsenal are currently top of the table, chasing their first league title in 22 years, while West Ham are in the relegation zone and need a win to get back into the relegation battle. From a footballing perspective, the importance of this match is self-evident.  

The Greek defender, who played for Arsenal for four years in his youth, is fully aware of the importance of this match and believes that playing at West Ham United's home ground will help the team turn the tide.  

Constantinos Mavropanos said: "It's an important match, but I think we're just as eager to win as they are. Of course, we need to win in different ways, but we must give it our all. This is a positive factor, and it's very important, because at times like these we need the support and encouragement of our fans, which will motivate us to keep going. We must make sure we are fully prepared and give it our all, because that's our only option."  

“I think the situation is getting more and more difficult now. The outcome is no longer entirely in our control, but all we can do is keep fighting, because that’s football, you can never predict what will happen. As long as we give our all and play our best in the remaining three games, the final rankings will be revealed.”  

This season, Constantinos Mavropanos has had several highlights at the London Stadium. He scored crucial goals and helped his team draw against Arsenal's main title rivals Manchester City, as well as secure a victory against Wolves.
