Werder Bremen announced the signing of Le Havre's young striker Kenny Quetant..


Werder Bremen announced on their official website on Thursday that they have signed Le Havre's young French striker, Kenny Quetant.


According to Werder Bremen's official statement, Quetant has signed on a long-term four-year deal with club which runs until the summer of 2030, with an option to extend for another year.


After completing his transfer procedures, Quetant, in his first interview with Werder Bremen's official website, said: "Werder Bremen is a very interesting club, and I'm excited to play here. I hope to help the team succeed and get as much playing time as possible. I'm also looking forward to playing at the Weserstadion because I've heard the fans there are fantastic."


"I decided to play in the Bundesliga because I watch the league regularly. I love the German style of football; it's very attacking. I'm eager to score a lot of goals, and I definitely believe I have the opportunity to achieve that at the Bundesliga."


About Kenny Quetant


The 19-year-old Quetant was born on July 17, 2006, in Paris, France. He is 1.89 meters tall, plays as a center forward, and holds dual French and Haitian citizenship. He also hs Malagasy and Réunion ancestry.


Quetant played in the youth academy of nou-league club Torcy during his childhood, then joined Le Havre's youth academy in 2020, before completing his Le Havre first-team debut in a Coupe de France match in December 2025.


Since his debut, Quetant has made 10 appearances for the Ligue 1 club in all competitions, scoring one goal, breaking the record to become the fourth youngest goalscorer in the league's history.
