Dean Henderson urged his teammates to be at their best in the final and do everything they could to win the match.

Dean Henderson has called for Crystal Palace to put on a special performance in the final, having captained the team to a historic victory over Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA semi-final. Crystal Palace won 2-1 and advanced to the final of this important European competition with a 5-2 aggregate score.  

At halftime, Crystal Palace led 4-2 on aggregate. Early in the second half, Dean Henderson made a crucial save to help his team maintain their advantage. Shortly after, Ismaila Sarr scored the decisive goal. From that moment on, Selhurst Park erupted in celebration.  

In the interview, Dean Henderson began looking to the future and expressed his hope that the team would pursue another major trophy later this month. He stated, "It's incredible for the club; you can feel the strong connection between the players and the fans. It's truly wonderful and breathtaking."  

“Since the head coach took over, he has given us confidence that the team can win any game. This season has been very difficult, especially with the tight schedule, but we have still made it to the final again, which is a remarkable achievement.”  

“It was really tough, with a very tight schedule. We had a relatively thin squad in December and January, but we held on and made it through. When you've been through a match like the FA Cup final last season, it makes you more confident and more eager to succeed again.”  

“We also have a group of very ambitious players, which cannot be ignored. Frankly, it’s incredible to lead Crystal Palace in European competitions, let alone reach the final. Therefore, we must perform well and strive to get back to where we belong.”
