Official announcement: Wildcard will replace The Huns at the 2026 PGL Bucharest.

PGL officially announced on Thursday that the Mongolian CS2 team The Huns will miss the 2026 PGL Bucharest tournament due to a scheduling conflict. The official announcement also confirmed that North American powerhouse Wildcard will replace The Huns in this year's event.
Wildcard finished as runners-up in the PGL Bucharest North American Closed Qualifier in March, earning them a spot on the next round of the tournament. They will officially take place in Bucharest on April 4th, competing against 15 other teams for a total prize pool of $625,000.
Before departing for Bucharest, Wildcard will travel to Portugal to participate in the 7th season of the Rome Empire Sound Cup. They have been drawn into Group A, with opponents including BESTIA, Sangal, BetBoom, and NOMERCY.
As for The Huns, who gave up their PGL spot, they have confirmed that they will compete in the Huya Steel Helmet Cup S2 held in Shanghai from April 1st to 5th.
