Semenio believes they will win more titles with Manchester City.

Manchester City defeated Premier League leaders Manchester City 2-0 in the 2025/26 League Cup final, thanks to a brace from Nico Aureli. Semenho stated that the title meant a great deal to him and expressed his belief that he and the team will win many more trophies in the future.

The deadlock wasn't broken until the 60th minute of the second half when Laryan Serki received a pass from Bernardo Silva in the penalty area and delivered a cross. Arsenal goalkeeper Kepa fumbled the ball while clearing it, and Nico Aurelli seized the opportunity to head the ball into the net, giving Manchester City a 1-0 lead.

Four minutes later, Manchester City launched another attack. Nunes chipped the ball into the box, and Nico Aurelli headed it in again, extending Manchester City's lead to 2-0.

Manchester City ultimately defeated Arsenal 2-0 at Wembley Stadium to win their first title of the season.

It's worth mentioning that the 26-year-old Semenho joined Manchester City in January of this year. Besides winning the League Cup with Guardiola's team, this was also Semenho's first professional title.
