Falcons lead the DreamLeague S29 group stage with a perfect record.

With the conclusion of Group A of the DreamLeague Season 29 Dota 2 group stage, the newly crowned International (TI) champions, Team Falcons, demonstrated their formidable dominance.

Team Falcons topped Group A with a 7-0 record, securing a spot in the playoff upper bracket and signaling their recovery from the post-championship slump.

The season boasts a total prize pool of $1 million and will be held online from May 13th to 24th, with 16 teams participating. Falcons remained undefeated in the Group A round-robin, boasting an overall game record of 14 wins and 3 losses.

Despite losing one game each against VP, Spirit, and GamerLegion (winning 2-1), Falcons swept Liquid, ex-HEROIC, VG, and Aurora 2-0.

The remaining qualification prospects in Group A are also clear. Team Spirit, Team Liquid, and Aurora Gaming are ranked second through fourth respectively, joining Falcons in the playoff upper bracket.

Spirit made a roster change before the season, and their new power forward, Not Me, performed exceptionally well, leading the team to a 6-1 record; Liquid finished third with a 5-2 record.

Virtus.pro (VP) and Vici Gaming (VG) were unable to secure points against strong teams, ultimately finishing fifth and sixth with a 2-5 record, forcing them to start from the lower bracket of the playoffs. ex-HEROIC and GamerLegion were unfortunately eliminated with a 1-6 record.

In contrast, the situation in Group B remains uncertain. Eastern European teams NAVI, PARIVISION, and BetBoom Team have already secured their places in the top three.

The final winner's bracket spot (fourth place) and the remaining two losers' bracket spots will be decided through a tiebreaker between Tundra Esports, PlayTime, and Xtreme Gaming. Nigma Galaxy and REKONIX have already been eliminated.
