Inter Milan defeated Lazio 2-0 in the 2025/26 Coppa Italia final, thanks to an own goal forced by Thuram and a goal from Lautaro Martinez, securing their second title of the season. Chivu expressed his gratitude for the fans' support, stating that winning two titles is never easy.

Dimarco took a corner in the 14th minute, and Thuram's header hit Adam Marusic's head before bouncing into the net, giving Inter Milan a 1-0 lead.

In the 35th minute, Dumfries won possession and passed the ball diagonally to the front of the goal, where Lautaro seized the opportunity and pushed the ball into the empty net, helping Inter Milan extend their lead to 2-0.

Inter Milan ultimately defeated Lazio 2-0 to win the championship. It's worth noting that Inter Milan had already secured the Serie A title earlier in the season.
