DreamLeague S29 Tournament Participant Roster Released
2026-05-14 09:00
With the attention of esports enthusiasts worldwide, the Dota 2 annual highlight – DreamLeague Season 29 (S29) – has officially begun.
As the most crucial battle for points before the 2026 Saudi Arabia eSports World Cup (EWC), this event will not only determine the winners of the $1 million prize pool, but also the final list of invitees to the eSports World Cup.
This year's DreamLeague is the largest and highest-profile ESL Pro Tour (EPT) event. Due to the extremely high weighting of its EPT points, the current leaderboard rankings are very competitive.
For teams on the verge of qualifying, their performance in S29 will directly determine whether they can secure a ticket to the 2026 Esports World Cup.
The competition coincides with the release of the 7.41c update, and the reshuffling of tactical systems has added significant uncertainty to the tournament. Looking back at the first half of the season, traditional powerhouses dominated the competition, but with the emergence of dark horses in the recent PGL Wallachia Season 8 and the personnel adjustments made by various clubs, the previous team ranking system has been disrupted.
From May 13th to 24th, 16 of the world's top teams will compete in a 12-day online tournament. The list of participating teams is as follows:
The 16 participating teams in DreamLeague S29:
·Tundra Esports
