Oliver Glasner was very proud of the team spirit shown by the players during the match.

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner said he was proud of every player after the team reached the UEFA Association League final for the first time in its history. Crystal Palace secured their place in the final with a 5-2 aggregate victory. An own goal and a second-half goal from Ismaila Sarr sealed the win.  

This manager has led Crystal Palace to important finals in both of his full seasons in charge, a remarkable achievement. Oliver Glasner said in the post-match press conference: "My warmest congratulations and praise to the players; I think everyone can see how well we performed."  

“But our commitment, effort, and discipline were outstanding. We always believed that as long as we could create opportunities, we could score goals. The second goal proved that we deserved the victory. I remember I raised my opinion with the fourth official at the time, thinking that the referee should have called a foul.”  

“Jeremy Pino was fouled, Daichi Kamada was fouled, and Terríquez Mitchell was also fouled, but we persevered and were eventually rewarded. The ball finally hit Ismaila Sarr near his toes and went into the net, giving us a goal. It was a brilliant performance and a great European night.”  

"Before the match, I said that regardless of the result, they had shown true unity in the previous matches. We also showed the team clips from the first leg."  

“It makes me proud that we have this spirit, this level of commitment, and this way of supporting each other. This is part of football; you may make mistakes, but the key is to support each other. I am very proud to stand with the fans and to be a part of this journey.”  

Despite being proud of the team's impressive performance at Selhurst Park, Oliver Glasner said he wouldn't rest on his laurels and hoped to bring more glory back to South London later this month when Crystal Palace face Rayo Vallecano in the final.  

Oliver Glasner added: “We have three weeks to prepare and analyze Rayo Vallecano, which is a very good team, so this final will be very exciting. You always hope that the last game of the season is for a goal, for a trophy. I can assure you that we will give it our all and bring the trophy back to Selhurst Park.”
