Guardiola praised English football and called on the public to be proud of it.

At a press conference ahead of Manchester City's fourth consecutive appearance in the FA Cup final, manager Pep Guardiola spoke highly of the football environment in England.

Since taking charge of Manchester City in 2016, Guardiola has spent nearly ten seasons in England, winning six Premier League titles and numerous other domestic accolades. Drawing on his own experience, he expressed his deep love for British football culture.

Guardiola believes that modern English football, while retaining its traditional aesthetic, is becoming more diverse and exciting. He stated, "In the past, it was probably more about 4-4-2 formations, long passes, and crosses."

"While these traditions still exist, many different head coaches are now influencing football and bringing about completely different game scenarios."

Besides his innovative tactical philosophy, Guardiola also praised the football atmosphere here. Whether it's traditional stadiums like Fulham or modern new venues like Tottenham and Everton, the magnificent architecture and the incredible passion of the fans have left a deep impression on him.

At the same time, the high level of tournament organization and the stability of clubs also constitute a unique advantage for English football. Guardiola pointed out that success is not the same as winning titles; being able to remain at the top for many years is also a form of success.

Despite the fatigue caused by the tight schedule and heavy workload, he emphasized: "The English must be incredibly proud of the competitions they have here, because they are top-notch in every aspect."
