In April of this year, 27-year-old Luka Doncic suffered a Grade 2 hamstring strain in his left leg, which prevented him from playing for the Los Angeles Lakers in the playoffs.

In the fourth round of the NBA playoff semifinals, the Los Angeles Lakers, despite a series of hard-fought points from Rui Hachimura, Austin Reeves, and LeBron James, ultimately lost 110-115 to the Oklahoma City Thunder and were eliminated with a 0-4 series score.

Los Angeles Lakers point guard Luka Doncic said, "It's really frustrating. I know a lot of people want me to come back, but obviously I'm a long way from that. There are some things in the media that aren't true, and those people haven't seen my MRI report or know the details, so they're not accurate. If I can play, I'll give it my all, and everyone in the locker room knows that."

"I'm currently doing strength training, running, and shooting practice, but I haven't done any contact drills yet. Those will probably have to wait for the next week or two."

Luka Doncic also said, "I want to spend time with my daughters, that's the most important thing on my mind right now. Secondly, of course, is to train hard and prepare for the new season."

When discussing the team's strong performance at the end of the regular season, Luka Doncic shared, "I think that period was really great, and the atmosphere in the locker room was fantastic. Every time we stepped onto the court, everyone was fighting, and most importantly, everyone was enjoying the game, so that sprint was very special."
