Embiid's left knee injury is improving and he is full of expectations for the upcoming season.

May 11th - According to ESPN, the Philadelphia 76ers suffered a crushing 114-144 defeat to the New York Knicks in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, being swept 0-4 in the series. After the game, 76ers star Joel Embiid remained optimistic when discussing his injury situation.

I’m more confident than ever, Embiid said. My knee used to be my biggest problem, but now I don’t worry about it anymore. If I continue with my current recovery process, I believe I won’t have to worry about it again in the future.

This season, Embiid has continued to be plagued by injuries, playing only 38 games. A month ago, he underwent an appendectomy and returned to the court after a short rest. During the series against the Knicks, he suffered hip and ankle injuries, missing Game 2 .

Despite not being in ideal physical condition, Embiid insisted on playing through his injury. Head coach Nick Nurse praised him after the game, saying, "He gave it his all, especially considering how difficult the last few games have been for him, but he still insisted on playing."
