Marquinhos urged the team to maintain the right mindset, saying they were just one step away from defending their Champions League title.

After a goal from Dembele, Paris Saint-Germain eliminated German giants Bayern Munich 6-5 on aggregate in the second leg of the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League semi-final. Marquinhos stated that the team must maintain the right mentality and approach the final with the same attitude.

Just three minutes into the game, Kvalatschlia passed the ball back from the penalty area, and Dembele slotted it home, giving Paris Saint-Germain a dream start, 1-0.

In stoppage time of the second half, Alphonso Davies played a through ball to Kane, who turned and fired a shot into the net, helping Bayern Munich equalize the score at 1-1.
