Ollie Watkins admitted that winning the game felt amazing and that the result was incredibly meaningful for the team.

Ollie Watkins said the atmosphere at Villa Park was impressive, and Aston Villa's qualification for the UEFA Europa League final was a significant achievement.

In the first half, the striker scored from close range in the B6 area. In the second half, Emmy Buendía and John McGinn each scored, and the team ultimately completed a comeback victory with a score of 4-1 on aggregate.

Ollie Watkins reflected on last week's first-leg defeat away to Nottingham Forest and praised the team's outstanding performance in the 4-0 home victory that secured their place in the final. He said: "It feels fantastic. In the first leg, we were generally passive, and the opponents had some excellent players who deserved the win."

“It’s going to be a tough game for them at Villa Park. We’ve been looking forward to it for weeks, and the whole team is focused on this match tonight.”

Unai Emery has led his team to the Europa League final for the sixth time, and he will strive to lift the trophy for the fifth time, while also hoping to win Aston Villa's first title in more than 30 years.

Ollie Watkins looked ahead to the team's match against Bundesliga side Freiburg in Istanbul later this month and assessed Aston Villa's competitive prospects. He added: "There's no better coach than him to lead us in preparing for and reaching the final. His resume speaks for itself. We're in a good position right now, but we must go to the away game and fight for a win."
