Djokovic emphasized that the team's goal is very clear: to win the final game of the season.

Bournemouth goalkeeper Jorge Petrovic emphasized ahead of their season-ending match against Nottingham Forest that the team's mission is far from over. Under Andoni Iraola, the team has secured a Europa League spot and made history with a remarkable season. With a 1-1 draw against Manchester City, Bournemouth also secured their first-ever appearance in European competition in their 127-year history.

However, with Aston Villa winning the Europa League, Bournemouth still has a theoretical chance of winning the Champions League. If Aston Villa finishes fifth in the league, England will gain an extra Champions League spot, with the sixth-placed team potentially receiving a promotion spot. Bournemouth's current focus is on securing sixth place while hoping Liverpool can defeat Brentford to keep Aston Villa in fifth.

Despite the complex situation, Djokovic emphasized that the team's focus is very clear, and their goal is to win the final game of the season. He said, "It's a very special experience to make history here. We improve every year, and this stage is especially crucial. I'm not surprised because I know the strength of this team; we have many outstanding players."

"But the season isn't over yet, and we still have a final task to complete. If things develop in the direction we hope for, we might even qualify for the Champions League, which would be even better. Our belief remains. Of course, the primary prerequisite is to do our best and secure sixth place."

In summarizing the season's performance, Djordje Petrovic said: "Last season we finished ninth, and this season our goal is to improve. We have already achieved our goal of qualifying for European competitions, and now we hope to take it to the next level."

"We had a good start to the season, but then went on a nine-game winless streak, which could have completely changed the course of the season. However, even during that period, the team's overall performance was not bad, but we just failed to gain the points we deserved. We always believed that we would bounce back, and starting in January, the team gradually regained its form, which fully reflects the hard work and dedication of the players."

Bournemouth's progress this season has largely stemmed from improved defensive stability. Jorge Petrovic has contributed 11 clean sheets, setting a new club Premier League record.
