German Cup – Kane scores hat-trick as Bayern Munich defeat Stuttgart 3-0 to win the title.

The 2025/26 German Cup final saw Bayern Munich, playing at the Berlin Olympic Stadium, defeat Stuttgart 3-0 thanks to a hat-trick from Harry Kane, to lift the trophy.

Two minutes into the match, Stuttgart launched an attack, with Mittelstädter delivering a cross. Windaff headed the ball towards goal from the penalty area, but it was saved by Bayern Munich goalkeeper Ulbig. In the 9th minute, Windaff played a through ball into the penalty area, and Mittelstädter's shot hit the side netting.

In the 17th minute, Mittelstädter received a pass from Windaff outside the penalty area and unleashed a long-range shot, which Bayern Munich goalkeeper Ulbig made a diving save. In the 27th minute, Demirovic headed the ball down, and Chris Felich received it and entered the penalty area to shoot, but the ball was caught by Ulbig.

In the 30th minute, Bayern Munich attempted a counter-attack. Stanišić passed the ball diagonally, and Diaz followed up with a shot against the defense, but the angle was too straight and the ball was caught by Stuttgart goalkeeper Alexander Nübel. In the 37th minute, Kimmich played a through ball, and Stanišić received the ball and shot, but it was saved by Alexander Nübel.

In the 55th minute of the second half, Kimmich took a free kick, and Olise dribbled past the defense on the right and chipped the ball into the penalty area, where Kane headed it into the net, giving Bayern Munich a 1-0 lead.

In the 76th minute, Bayern Munich substituted Lennart Karl for Musiala. In the 80th minute, Kane received the ball outside the penalty area and took a long-range shot, but the ball hit the post. Shortly after, Diaz crossed from the edge of the box, and Kane slid in to score, giving Bayern Munich a 2-0 lead over Stuttgart.

In the 89th minute, Kane passed the ball across to Olise, who took a long-range shot, but the ball deflected off a teammate and went wide. In the 90th minute, Olise's cross touched Angelo Stiller's hand, and the referee awarded Bayern Munich a penalty. Kane then converted the penalty, extending Bayern Munich's lead to 3-0.

Bayern Munich ultimately defeated Stuttgart 3-0 to claim the championship title.
